Attn: 330 owners interested in silicone intake boots

Okay guys, since Samco fell through, Stett has stepped up again. They've been working on it for quite a while, but should have finished product in about 4 weeks. It's just been taking a while to work out a perfect curve from the IACV to the boot, since there won't be an accordion. They said it's been a real pain. These are being produced by the same company that did the radiator hoses, so I'm really excited about the quality. I'd like to get a good list going. I'm not positive on price, or how many people we need for a GB, but I'd like to shoot for 15. There was a lot more tooling on these, so I'm sure they won't be cheap, but I think the smooth, insulated flow will be worth it.

Hey kids, should have a price locked in tomorrow. Samco quoted $185. Stett told me it'll be less than that, so that's good. If you look at the price of similar silicone pieces for turbo'd cars (EVO, WRX, Audi TT) that's not out of line.

if it was 150 that be sweet.

It's a direct replacement for the stock hoses but it won't crack and tear, leaving vac leaks. It'll be made of thick reinforced silicone. It'll smooth out the intake. It'll rock your face off.

Are they making intake boots or scale models of Loch Ness monster sightings? Just kidding, I'm in if this one makes it into production. Just curious, why are we starting ANOTHER list??? Did the last one have an expiration date?
