Stock AMP went out! HOW?

ok so basically i was following a diy thread on installing aftermarket subs and amp, to my non HK setup, ok i started off by splicing the LOC into the wires right before the amp, after i got done with that i checked to see if everything still worked and now im completely without sound! i took the amp and subs out and took out the LOC and tried going back to stock but i still have the same problem and i do not know what to do can anyone help me!? i have no sound what so ever, and i dont want to buy parts if i dont need to, any help would be much appreciated! thanks

im not really sure .. but until u get an answer from somebody that knows.. why not take a test light and test power everywhere.. make sure there was no short that happened.

already have, all wires are good that lead to the amp! i just ordered one of ebay. it will be here friday

well it turned out it wasnt the amp it was the head unit so i put a nice jvc in there and got all my sound back
