Talking Any BMW Techs?? Need pinout for DCT shifter

Hoping someone can look this up for me. Attempting to retrofit a DCT/SAT shifter (BMW part number: 61 31 9 208 271; see pic below) into my e46 auto to replace current shifter.

I have Bentley's for my e46 and have the wiring diagram and pin assignments for the current setup. Need pinouts for 12 pin connector on DCT shifter to get lights to work properly. If anyone could post or direct to where I can get it.... greatly appreciated. Delmarco had attempted mod; its his car pictured, but had intermittant light issues.... I will post complete DIY when I get it figured out.

BMW WDS should have it. I assume you have your cars details, but no details on the new shifter.

What year model etc is the shifter off of? Need more info.

I've searched WDS item by item and can't find that connector listed anywhere... I've found the Selector illumination and checked on every connector listed in the pics..... and then cross-refernced them.... Didn't check ECU connections.... maybe it's there.

According to what I've been able to find, the shifter is off the 08 550 sport package, but was also used in the X5 and a couple other models... A realOEM search doesn't recognise the code, but I know it's right as I ordered from BMW canada directly. Going to try and contact them tomorrow and see if they will provide the details..... Found lots of pics of the shifter; even eventully found it on realOEM, but it only shows a block diagram of the connector....

ah... well sounds like you've done all I could do. Should be in WDS though.

Try looking for the shifter part of whatever else comes on the 550, and get the pinout for that shifter?

getting there. SPoke with BMW Canada and a local BMW dealer and got some of the info I required; got the schematic from them, but they sent the connection between an SMG and Selector. I need Auto/Steptronic schematic; got busy yesterday afternoon and never got hold of them to request new info.... Will try again. Also, my buddy @ BMW is having BMW engineering look @ what I'm attempting to do and will assist; so hopefully they'll come back with "connect this to this", if not at least with the schematic i should be able to figure it out.
