Where to Buy Xi OEM Shocks (besides dealer)?
I see the Sachs rear shocks all over the place, but where can I find the fronts? I've searched the forum (maybe not enough).
Maybe I'll just go with bilstein all around if I can't find these. |

Get the bilstein HD's- you will be very happy. Bavauto sells them for $430 a set.

'02 325xit...I recently replaced my right front strut/shock because the perch that the spring sits on rusted off! Actually, due to rust it slipped down the strut, allowing the spring to extend and thereby lowering that corner of the car. Eventually, what was left of the spring perch twisted and its edge cut into the inner sidewall of the tire. Perfectly good tire was ruined.
At any rate....I was able to get an OEM Sachs Boge strut from PartsGeek.com, right front Part number 31 31 6 751 132, for something over $200. SDealer wanted $297. |

Turner can match bavauto if you ask them too as well.

If you're considering buying new OEM suspension parts, I'd suggest going with Dinan or a coilover set. OEM suspension parts are more expensive. Or at least they were when I looked into it about 2 years ago.
