uuc wilwood bbk
getting closer to pulling the trigger on a bbk. really like the wilwood kit as Im on a budget and I'm looking to buy a front kit first then pick up a rear kit closer to summer and install together. my only concern is the the 325 mm rotor. I would really like something a little larger (Im running 19's) anyone have any suggestions on alternatives? My budget is around 1700 for a front kit. thanks

Are you worried about looks? If you want a kit to fill out your 19" wheels, the UUC kit is definitely not the right kit for you. The caliper won't be anywhere close to the inside of the wheel.

![]() They're really nice brakes, and stop well. Consequently they're probably the ugliest setup on the market. I don't really like how the calipers sit diagonally instead of straight up and down; but I do like the look overall (especially compared to stock.) But I bought them because they were a budget braking upgrade with big results.

Do you have the 6 or 4 piston front?
To the OP...I'd stick with the 4 piston front unless you plan to put your OEM wheels back on and refuse to run spacers. I have the 6pot front calipers and it is a PIA to find pads. Everyone does make the 7420 pad in a 20mm thickness for the 4 pot caliper...hard to find the 7416 pad for the 6 pot. Both the 4 and 6 piston kits have the same pad shape...the 4 piston kit uses a 4mm thicker pad. If any track time is in yourr future, DEFINITELY get the 4 piston kit for the front. |
