My Ride: 325XI
Thanks for all your help

This weekend I replaced the passenger side front axle on my son's 325XI with the help of this section of the messageboard. The information here helped me diagnose the problem correctly and get the job done.

While it fought me the whole is done and no shake on the test rides.

Would anyone know the torque spec for the front axle nut? (my Bentley manual did not arrive yet)

Thanks to all for sharing your knowledge!

I believe it's 310 ft/lbs.

I stand on a jack handle slipped over a breaker bar.

Wow! That High! I will have to go back and see if I can exert that much force!

Thanks for the quick reply.
