Upstate,NY Chat Thread

Sup guys, lets keep all the other threads unclogged.

All the Upstate Fanatics let's have a chat in here.

If you guys are wondering why I'm making this thread, but have

Long Island,NY in my profile, it's because I have a summer house Upstate, so I'll be involved up there a lot during the summers too.

I think for our next meet we should meet in Cooperstown and do the same thing as last meet, drive around a bit, have some lunch, drive around some more, snap pics.

We're not talking about Westchester here, I'd say anything north of Catskills?

Exactly! I'm from Warwick in orange county about an hour from the city and I consider Albany/catskills upstate.

Edit: Thanks for the clarification. Regardless, I'll still be interested

Actually, you're a wee bit off. Syracuse and Utica are considered Cental NY, not Upstate.

Personally, my family has a house in Lake Placid, so I'm waaaaay Upstate.

George. This is why:
When you drive thru the Bx all the road sign suggest that the next exits are Upstate NY...so naturally people think anything north of the Bx is Upstate NY.

damn! that is epic!
Canada and Vermont is in the mix!

lol.
