FS: 2001 M3 6MT Imola Red Convertible WA
PRICE DROP!!! $12,000 How's it going guys, so I've decided its time to part with my M3, partly because it's getting a little expensive for minuscule repairs and because I want to get out of a monthly car payment. Anyways, heres the car! It has 104K currently but I use it as my DD so its rising constantly. I just put a set of brand new Nitto Invo tires all around so you wont need tires for a minute. The car is in decent shape, it is older so you will find some dents and some scratches here and there. Normal wear and tear stuff really. The car has been in an accident, I put it in a ditch about two years ago and it was repaired by a shop that was referred to me by another member in the forums. They did a great job and it looks good. The car runs fine right now, but it is in need of some repairs. Nothing mechanical, but the stuff that wears out needs to be replaced. Rear trailing arm bushings, front control arm bushings are the priority and as far as I know all it needs. The airbag light turns on whenever anyone sits in the passenger seat and from what I have read its some kind of sensor that is faulty and can be replaced fairly easily. The outside temp gauge is missing so it reads -40 all the time, but its only a matter of buying it and plugging it in to fix it. I dont have the money, the skill or the tools to do the jobs myself or have it done unless I wait a while to save up some but thats up to you. Inspection Number 1 has been done a long time ago, the rod bearing recall has also been completed and I recently took it to the dealer to have the subframe inspected and it checked out to be good. It does need to have inspection number 2 done, and I got a quote from Eastside Bavarian for $1,600 to do it. I also have a black hardtop I purchased trough Craigslist thats in really good shape but I would like to sell it separately or for a bit more than my asking price. This is a great car and it has been very reliable and fun all along while Ive had it, I hate to get rid of it but its time to face the fact that its above my pay grade. The pics are a bit old so just ask and Ill take some more, its just a bit dusty right now and Im washing it on Friday. Any more info anyone wants I will be more than happy to answer. Send me an offer or ask me for pics, or just say hello I dont really mind! For faster replies write to tk7294@gmail.com since I dont check this site as often as I should. Thank you for your interest if you are still reading!

Hell of a steal. Screw what it needs...a non salvage (wait is it?) e46 M3, only ~100k, stick, and a vert for freaking 13 grand.

Any pics with the soft top up, or with the hard top? Would the car survive a drive to SLC, UT in its current condition?

Yeah absolutely! The car drives fine, I drive it to work and home everyday. The RTABS and FCABS is the only funky thing that I really wish I could just go replace, but its not something that will prevent the car from a trip. You might do a few seconds slower lap times at autocross though! |

Is the soft top already on the car and does the automatic open/close function still work? How does the hard top function with that? I've never seen an M3 vert with the hard top so I'm not sure how they operate. Do you just put the hardtop on when the soft top is down?
Also, in the pics, it shows that the SES light is on... is that still the case? Last edited by Nait Sirhc; 05-28-2011 at 05:59 PM. |
