VMR CSL 18'' or 19''?
I'm thinking about getting VMR CSL reps for my 330ci. Just wondering what would look better. 18's or 19's. If you guys can post some pictures that would be helpful. Also if someone has a titanium silver with hypersilver wheels that would be even better. Thanks.

18's. Sorry but those who say 19 obviously don't DD their cars in the city. Think about how expensive tires are going to be, how easy it will be to curb rash them, and how much more susceptible to potholes you'll be.

Are you serious, or joking? Because I would love to get some nice looking 17's, something not too heavy. But I seem to be in the minority. 18 and 19in wheels are heavy, and slow your car down. If you look for really lightweight 18's or 19's, they get REALLY expensive, like 1/3 of the value of your car expensive. And I just can't do that. But it is getting very hard to find 17in wheels now. Most of the ones I like are not available in 17in. |

Also, judging from his replies, he has already made up his mind, so I am not real sure why he posted this. |

Well, I did not notice that it was a zombie thread, back from the dead! I guess you can ignore all of us jumping back in on it. So, what did you end up going with?

What suspension setup are you running? It seems you're sitting a bit higher in the back, but could be the picture. My car sits in the exact opposite way. |

Yeah I know 18's are more practical... but 19's just look so good! And I don't think I'll have a big issue with potholes and such... Its not to bad in norcal.

Yes and you also dont notice the potholes as much until you have larger rims. That is why I went with 18s. Great looks especially when lowered and still better performance without as much hassle.

This has been covered many many times.. 19 look too big and don't go well with non-ms atleast csl's.. 18's are perfect and with a drop even better..
I have a tiag 330ci with black csl's I'll post pics up when I get home

Staggered 18s. Mike at ModBargains (forum sponsor) sells them and has them on his TiAg 330Ci. Scroll down to see Mike's car. I bought mine here. No problems. http://www.modbargains.com/Velocity-...-Staggered.htm

18's, car will be faster, handle better too. and tires will be cheaper and the wheels wont bend if you hit a pot hole or bump.

18s are a good compromise between looks and performance. 19s look great but expect your handling and acceleration to take a dip. And this topic has been beaten to death with no clear answer. Now lets talk about oil or intakes please...
