High Performance Ignition coils?

Ok , so i Keep getting the Magazine article from Bavauto and it always shows me these "High performance ignition coils" on sale. What are these? does any one have these and see any sort of a difference in a gain of power?

No one has every gained power or anything from their coils. I think I remember reading one guy saying he had nothing but problems with them. Unless your going F/I the money should be spent somewhere else. Stick with the stock ones.

The general consensus on these has been that they do nothing for you at all, so unless your stock ones are in need of replacing, I would spend your money elsewhere.

Every thread I've read about those "performance" ignition coils has ended up in nothing but problems like rough idle, misfiring, etc...

I bought these to replace my stock coils when 4 out of the 6 went bad also put in new NGK plugs while i was in there. Since the instalation of these i have been getting rough idle with misfiring codes and the infamous P0171, P0174 Bank one & two lean weather that has anythig to do with the new coils or not just figured it was werid that the first start up after installing these coils i get these codes.
