Oil Level Sensor prices
I'm going need to be changing my oil soon and I'm replacing my oil level sensor at the same time(Oil light comes on and off after starting the car). Why is there a huge difference in price between the MTC and BMW OEM. Should I stay away from the MTC sensor?
Brand: MTC $45.95 Brand: Hella $104.75 Brand: BMW OEM $128.58 |

I'm not 100%, if I remember right, but isn't Hella the brand that makes oem oil level sensors.
I remember solidjake suggested I get this one at Autohausaz. Cheaper than the the price you posted as well. http://www.autohausaz.com/search/pro...Level%20Sender Last edited by Erikx559; 12-20-2011 at 12:42 PM. |

I will strongly suggest you to stay away from MTC parts.
The OEM for the oil level sensor is Hella. I know it because I just changed mine and the original was from Hella with the bmw roundel on it. I ordered mine on ebay for about $100. I could go check which shop I got it from if you wish. |
