Hey guys I noticed there is no thread on this forum for serious hockey fans. I'm guessing not many people here follow the sport, however for those who do lets keep all hockey talk in here.

As for me I'm a die hard NJ devils fans, and we're high off a big 4-1 win over the rangers today.

Rangers fan here, today's loss hurt.

1st shot on goal = goal for the Devils.

It's ok, we're still in first.

Dude, this is our first legitimate shot at the cup since '94... we can't talk? We have the best goalie in the league and Cally is a fuucking monster. We've been off lately though, but I'd rather be off now than in the playoffs.

No dude I give the rangers so much props for what they've accomplished this year. They are definitely one of the most solid teams through all lines. Its just that, what's that saying? Don't count your money before you win your bet?

Idk. I'm not saying devils or any other team are far superior to rangers either. Sorry it's just that all of my friends are rangers fans and I go through this conversation with them everyday.

We don't get much national recognition since we don't have a big name superstar (although Halak & Elliot have been crazy in goal, look up their stats). We do however have I believer 10 players with at least 10 goals.

They're possibly the most well rounded team in the league. They're young, they fight, and there's a lot of skill on the ice at all times.

Tell me about it... although I give all the props in the world to Varlamov with 41 saves yesterday. It would have been a Rangers W had he not stepped up as much as he did.

I just hope we walk away with the W tomorrow vs the Devils... gotta shut these fans up already.
