My Ride: 2001 BMW 330Ci
2001 330Ci Xenon's Flickering/Flashing, need advice.

I have a 2001 330Ci with factory Xenon's, and recently they have been flickering together every so often. Last night I turned on my lights and they constantly flash on and off at 1 second intervals, both at the same time. I was able to make it home on just my fogs, but I clearly cannot drive it at night until I get this resolved, and I need to take a 300 mile trip at night in a few days!

I also have the issue where it says both brake lights are out on my dash(looks like my rocket boosters have been deployed). I was reading up and a few people reported that swapping out/disconnecting the rear tail light bulb carriers would fix the front lights flashing due to a short issue, but I disconnected the carriers and they kept flashing.

Does anyone have an idea of what is causing this?

Is it possible that your light control module is going bad since it is happening to both xenons at the same time, and your light control module is reporting bulbs out in the rear?

If you have checked and there is no short in the rear taillights, then I would have someone run diagnostics on your LCM. If it is flashing at a set interval it is most likely a computer problem. However it is strange that this happens because BMW included redundancy in the LCM that turns the lights on if the module starts to fail.
