Car is in impeccable condition. I had the car at the shop recently and the owner came out to tell me how amazing the car looked, he couldn't believe it was an '01.

Well maintained by a trusted local independent mechanic that my family has used for 20+ yrs. Low mileage oil changes as I drive 4k miles/yr I don't wait for the 15k bmw says, usually changed around 5k.
Previous owner had a sheaf of maintenance records, when I had the PPI done when purchasing the car the mechanic said to me "this car is cherry." I have all maintenance records and a copy of the PPI when I bought the car in '07. I have kept up consistent maintenance.

leather is in great condition overall, minor side bolster scuffing as to be expected. The driver's bolster has started to separate at the top, however the leather is intact, it is just the stitching coming loose.
I have an appointment for May1st with an auto interior specialist to have it re-stitched.

Car is an early '01, which came with the "overboosted" steering after the parallel-parking complaints. I replaced the original steering rack with a brand new OEM steering rack to restore that solid, legendary BMW steering feel.

Paint is well maintained, polished with PC and menzerna products, protected with menzerna FMJ. The paint has a nice deep gloss still.
Rims have no road rash.

Car has never been raced, tracked, or autox'd. My wife jokes that I drive slower than her mom, car has been driven responsibly.

Located on Long Island, New York. Clean title in hand. No hurry to sell, an enthusiast will get an excellently maintained e46. $13,350 obo.
