They fit fine on the E46 M3, on the non M and Xi cars fitment will be very very aggressive. Below is a photo of them mounted on a customers M3 to give you a little reference.

The wheels in the photos are genuine BMW style 71s, they are not replicas. Sadly they are no longer available.

I've had style 71's on my car since the day I bought it. They were a $1000 upgrade to the M68 rims that came on 330ci sport packages.

I have yet to see a style 71 with that kind of lip/offset. They are made for non-m's and the offset is not aggressive at all. In addition, even though they are staggered, the lip is still the same (barely an inch) on both the front and the rear.

i'd love to see more pics if those are OEM...

BMW part numbers 36116752093 and 36136783536, Euro E39 wheels. My original post was referencing them, it slipped my mind that they where an E46 option wheel with a different offset at the time.

Did you end up getting the Style 71s for your 330 xi? Thinking about the same for myself. If you did, love to see pics.

I never read these threads, but weren't style 71s stock on non-m e46?

If yes, they will fit. I'm not sure what car the wheels from the picture are from, but they aren't e46 wheels.

I have seen 17" Style 71s on E46 330i coupes with the sport package, but not in a few years.

i have staggered 18" 71s in my coupe... thinking of putting 10-15mm spacers in the back to have a nice straight line with the fender

Don't think so. They were available for the coupe and convertible.

will style 71 wheels fit?

These wheels come as an option for the 03 330ci, they never came on the M3, they also came on the clubsport edition in the uk. I have the staggered 18's on my sedan with sport suspension, not even close to rubbing at all, perfect fit and drives great. Personally I would not go staggered with xi, even though the overall dimension's are really close but are not exactly the same. It would bother me to know the rears are spinning a pinch faster than the front and what that will do to my gears.

There is some 17" 71's that have an ET20 that came on the 5rs, i believe these would have a bigger hub dia also.

You have them on your xi, they didn't come stock on your xi. Et20 square for 5 series, et 47 front and et 50 rear for e46. People use two pairs if rears for more aggressive look in front, or two sets of fronts on xi to keep it right.

I don't think they are aggressive at all, I can fit my finger behind the wheel and strut, and I have a good 15mm inside of the fender. I plan on getting spacers on my sedan to make them look more aggressive. These are genuine staggered 18's, 225/40 and 255/35
