Sometime yesterday my fuel system sprung a leak, I was on my to work this morning which is a 20 minute drive and my fuel gauge went from half a tank to a quarter tank in twenty minutes. I came out after to work to go home and the car wouldn't start. There was a fuel puddle directly under the center of the car where the engine section joins the cabin. I'm guessing it's a fuel line in the center of the vehicle. Had the car towed to a local shop, will update post on Monday after I find out what the issue happens to be... Has anyone ever had leaky fuel lines...

It's likely one of the fuel line which connects to the fuel filter. Did you do a fuel filter replacement say 1-2 years ago? That or where the line connects to the rail but I've never seen that.

UPDATE: Yeap, the rubber line between the fuel rail and the fuel filter exploded and dumped 3/4 tank of premium Shell gasoline on the ground. Got it fixed and I'm rollin once again. I'm told that I'm extremely fortunate in that I didn't have a fire with that much fuel on the ground. BTW; I was also reminded that all rubber fuel lines need to be replaced around 7-8 years of ownership. Mine lasted 13 years before this issue. Just my two and a half cents worth...
