Anyone have a DIY for Auxilary Fan replacement?

Hey guys, I need to replace my auxiliary fan because my current one has a broken blade and is not efficiently cooling the car during idle in Arizona heat. The dealer says it will take their mechanic at least 3 hours which is like $500. After some searching, the only thing I can really find is this thread (http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=490013) which makes it look like its a 15 minute job. Is the dealer just overpricing the work or is there something about the M3's auxiliary fan that is unique or difficult to replace?

If anyone has or knows of an actual DIY for this, I would much rather do it myself than pay the dealer to do it.

Thanks

3 hours is insane. It takes less than an hour, if you're really really slow. I removed mine when installing my supercharger. Let me look up the instructions later today and will update you.
