2001 330i lots of mods
i am selling my 2001 bmw 330i. 157k miles. . ice cold a/c. heated seats, power everything. auto. non-sport.
Mods: M3 replica front bumper Carbon fiber csl trunk (painted) M tech 2 rear bumper Red/Clear/Red Tail lamps Clear side markers 6k hids in the head lamps 3k hids in the fog lamps (one of them is burnt out) Rokkor adjustable coilover suspension. Repairs/maintenance in the year i have owned it (since 08/11 last 23k miles) (135k,140k,145k,150k,155k) Synthetic oil changes using motul oil and mann filters (135k) Water pump, (mann) fuel filter/regulator, Idler pulley, Tensioner Pulley, Crankcase Vent Valve & Breather Hoses, Oil filter adapter gasket, Valve cover gasket, accessory and a/c belt (oem BMW parts) (145k) Front pad, rotors, and sensor (zimmerman and akebono) (150k) Trans Filter and Fluid change (bg sythetic), Control arm bushings, Radiator, low pressure power steering lines (oem BMW parts) (155k) New rear tires z rated continental contisportcontact (156k) 4x low range speakers Repairs needed Needs 4 window regulators Needs a new key if you want to use keyless entry Driver seat has a tear in it. looking to get 9900 obo located in vegas      Last edited by stookin; 08-21-2012 at 10:36 PM. |

bump car now has sport seats, sport steering wheel, and the 2 rear window regulators have been repaired. now needs blower motor resistor. 8k obo

Good price! How did you replace the sport steering wheel? Does the air bag work?

To remove non sport steering wheel
Disconnect battery Behind the steering wheel there are two torque bit screws that hold in the air bag. Remove them. Disconnect all the connectors Remove the one nut that holds the steering wheel on I believe it's either a 16 or 17mm socket (I don't remember) with a breaker bar or impact. Reverse for installation of the sport steering wheel. Air bag install is different. There are push pins that hold it in place in the same place the torque bit screws would have been rather. You push the pins inward with a horizontal motion with a flat head to get the air bag to set in and lock into place Last edited by stookin; 12-20-2012 at 11:28 PM. |
