Side Markers not Working...

When I purchased my 330i, it already had clear side markers that did not work. They were also yellowed, so I bought new clear sides as well as LED bulbs for them. When I swapped out the bulbs and put in the LEDs, I got light for a brief moment: five or so brief flashes, and then nothing. Now I won't even get the flashes... just nothing. I swapped back to halogen bulbs, and still nothing. I would imagine it is a relay or wiring issue, but those brief flashes made me curious.

Any ideas as to what I can do next? Where should I check for voltage issues? I have a voltmeter, I'm just not sure where to start...

Any help would be appreciated...

I know its just simple electrical, but I suppose I'm just wondering if anyone is aware of a weak spot I should be looking for. There isn't a fuse as far as I can tell... and the other lights are all working find with no dash lights... so I'm just not sure where is a good place to start to get these things to turn on!
