Help buying new tires

Hey I recently saw I need new tires (and a alignment) and I need some help buying need tires. Im looking for low road noise, comfort, and a long last, I prefer them all season or summer tires. Btw I own a 2002 330xi. Thanks

Go here: http://www.tirerack.com/ select your car, click tires, then click tire buying guide. It will ask a series of questions then give you a list of tires that meed your wants. Based on what you said you are looking for, your wants from a set of tires are very different from mine, so I will refrain from offering my personal tire selection opinions. Even if you don't intend on buying from them, they have tons of actual tests as well as a bunch of surveys from users that are very helpful when it comes to selecting a tire.

Personally, I just got Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS Pole Position 225/40/18 for my Xi and I love them. I recently went from 16" to 18" wheels and I'm actually surprised that they are just as comfortable as the much larger Michelins that I used to have. They provide much better handling than my old ones and are supposed to be very good in the snow.

In Illinois, you better get All Seasons if you aren't going to run winter tires.

I don't live in Illinois anymore so I'm looking for just summer tires as well.
