 Sunday drive leads to traffic charges for 15 members of Northern Virginia car club Many Sunday drivers may have seen something out of the norm on their morning jaunt as a gaggle of sports cars raced down Va. 262. According to Augusta County Sheriff’s Office, 15 to 20 sports cars were seen driving recklessly at 10:40 a.m. Sunday morning and it took four jurisdictions to work collectively to stop them. After receiving multiple calls Sunday morning, Augusta County deputy Trevor Ross said law enforcement found that the cars were part of a Northern Virginia car club. They didn't work collectively. We were not driving recklessly and we obliged to their requests once the cops decided to pull us over.
