The Sprintboostersales.com website differentiates between auto and manual for part numbers so I have to believe they are different.

I don't know it looks like a good dealer when I drive but it but besides that I don't know and they do have some nice cars on there lot tho

If you have a sport button in your M3 I believe the Sprintbooster is accomplishing the same thing whereas it's increasing the throttle response when sport is on/off.

The sprint booster simply installs on the back of the gas pedal, it will fit any E46 however because the part numbers are different I believe the tuning is different for auto and manual transmissions. This booster I'm selling is for a manual.
