Coilover help!

Just ordered some solo werks s1 coilovers. I was going to do the install in my auto tech class. I needed to know if there's anything I needed that wasn't included in the kit such as washers, grommets any little accessory I might not know of before I take apart my car and can't complete the job correctly! Thanks!

I installed my S1s a few weeks back and all I needed was everything that was in the box! Most people recommend that you replace the front and rear strut mounts but I'm just using the stock ones for now. Also, you might need spacers for the front tires, as I did, depending on the size and offset of your wheels.

I'm running a 18x8.5 et 40 up front

You will definitely need spacers! That's the exact same setup that I am running

At et40 you're close to not needing spacers. 5mm would take you to et35 and youll clear the coilovers and not rub the fenders. If you want to push the wheels out further you should measure and or defer to people running similar wheels offsets coils etc.

i have kosei k1's with 255/40/17 all around and i need a 8mm spacer up front
i rub like a mofo though on a hard turn especially if the road is all jacked up
