this baby arrives tomorrow

I bought this last week after giving into temptation playing with my friends m9. Hopefully I can use this a good distraction from school instead of watching tv during my breaks/time off. I know there are a lot of leica haters, but after owning the x1 i feel that the pictures are great straight out of the camera and it gives you the urge of wanting to take more pictures and thats what i feel when using the leica.

with this lens

bought them used (but like new) off the leica forums with under 120 shutter actuations.

I started in 2009, but I havnt had time to post stuff or even take pics this year. This camera is just for fun, take some pics and sell it. I dont plan on keeping it more than a year. I also know that I wont become a good photographer because of a camera lol.

I used to think this about my Nikon DSLRs. Then I started using Lightroom and learned how wrong I was.

I'm so pissed. The camera arrived and it's not as described. Missing the box, lens cover scratches on the bottom. It was suppose to be in mint condition, and everything complete. I'm sending it back to the POS liar the seller is

While these cameras are cool, and pretty fascinating, I don't think I'd ever buy one. Not because I'm a hater, I just couldn't justify it.

Yea. It took me a good week of playing with my friends m9 and contemplating the price tag. IMO it's an amazing camera. Very basic tools to work with, everything's manual. But I had to buy it to get the itch off lol. Now I'm just really pissed so I need some time to cool off before I search again.

Gaby, take a look at Sony RX1. I'm so amazed by the image quality coming from this camera. Its 35/2 Zeiss lens is one of the best 35mm I've seen so far from all manufacturers. Check this image out!

I'm alright, thank you. Slowly learning photography on my own
You probably think of a very compact RX100. Take a look at Sony NEX6. You can adapt almost any manual glass to this MILC. Its focus peaking feature makes MFing easy and very accurate.
