R & R 330CI engine

Need advice as to feasability of replacing 3.0 engine in 330CI that my son ran without oil. I have found many used ones but wonder what install will cost. Can anyone help me on this. Thanx

Feasibility? Yes, very feasible and many on here have DIYd the job.

If you're looking for shop pricing, you're better off calling your mechanic as labor rates can vary wildly. A 3.0 motor will likely run you from $1k-$2.5k, depending on mileage etc. you can price them from salvage yards like bmrparts.com

A swap of an identical motor probably isn't that hard of a DIY. You just need an engine lift (Harbor Freight for a cheap one) and some regular tools. You can just replace all the rubber parts on the new engine while it is out of the car, and you can replace things in the engine bay too. Then put the new engine in, plug in all connectors, drive away.
