Brake pedal feel?
Hey guys, about two months ago I had new pads and rotors installed and the brake feel as been great and responsive. The other night a deer jumped out in front of me and I slammed my brakes. When I got into my car this morning, it feels like there's a "dead spot" in the pedal. IE, as I press down on the pedal I get some braking force, then none, then more. It's not hugely noticeable, but I can definantly feel it. So, can these be related, or is it just the placebo effect?

My guess is you are imagining things. How can you measure braking force by pedal feel? If your car is stopping fine and your pedal is firm you're probably fine.

I hate that feeling. You always think you've missed something and keep imagining stuff that is not there, lol.
