Back is pretty nice like all the other recent Japanese cars, but the front is just eeewwww. The interior is pretty retarded too. Overall it's just another car that I would never give a second look in traffic.

One of the main reason is to disassociate model name with engine size so that the guy who bought a G25 ... I mean Q525 won't feel as bad.
Other than that, it can be confusing.

So are they going to have a Q50 3.7 or no way to tell what the guy has under the hood? Maybe there will just be no engine options for their cars, but seems odd as the M series probably has a nice amount of v8 sales.

i know my statement won't be popular...

i'm much happier in my g37 than i was in my e46. i kno the g is a few years newer, but IMO the inifiniti is a better car. i picked it over the 335 too. i know what forum i'm on, and i know i'll get flamed, but i like the G more. i love both brands. just trying to give a fair opinion.

You're not alone in that feeling. A friend of mine, who's had basically every non-intro model 3-series available (328s, 330s, E36 and E36 M3s, etc - all purchased new) bought a G37S and said it was, by far, the best overall car he's ever had.

That said, I don't like their new naming structure.

robbing with a sword is a good thing
