NBC news - No rifles used At Sandy Hook

Yup, confirmed. Four handguns and no rifles. Additionally, lanza tried to purchase an AR15 near Danbury a week prior... Denied by existing laws.

He also had some sort of prior altercation with four staff members of the school prior. At gym cannot link video but it's all over the place now.

We all know the AR-15 is the poster child (and subsequently lightning rod) for gun violence. There is no real justification for it. Rifles make for rather inconvenient weapons when trying to be sneaky and be evil with intent. They are kind a hard to hide in your clothing.

I was shooting a friend's AR15 yesterday at the range. If I was asked to kill a room full of liberals it would be the LAST weapon I would choose. I would do FAR more damage with my glock 19.

That's probably why they are rarely used for evil, hence no iota of a reason to make them a focal point

Also most gun guys say it's numero uno for home self defense

My AR is the LAST gun I'd use for home self defense. (Unless I am defending marauders from coming in.) I'd grab my H&K USP or shotgun first. Easier to use, more mobile.

That is not even the full video.

there is another out there, that is uncut from the chopper over the car. It shows after the guy who clears the weapon, two men in white forensic suits each grab one long gun, and walk to a trailer on site. 2 men, one gun each. Only the first one appears to grab the "shot gun". The other you cannot see so well, but both are holding long guns.

So, which is it? Is the first a shot gun, and the second the AR? Are they both ARs? Is one a shotty and the other an AK? Do we have a crime scene photo of the AR used in the killing spree? Just a question, believe what you want.

This was just misinformation, the medical examiner confirmed .223 was used on all victims in the school and a handgun was used for suicide.

^I wasn't aware any official report was released. Do you have a link?

Edit: If all the shots 'were' with a .223 then why was the Long Gun in the trunk of a car outside after the kid shot himself inside? It's hard to carry things out to the trunk when you are dead. IMO the actual report needs to be released before we can call things facts. And hopefully the report is true to the events.

The long gun in the car was a shotgun. ME said in a press conference that all people were shot with a .223
