I think this will be my next mod. If anyone could chime in with a cost estimate on having a second pipe put on?

My Ride: Has no throttle
Expect to spend at least a grand on bumper modifications and the exhaust itself

that's about the ugliest thing you can do to a non-M e46. it's basically a butcherfest.

Done right, I think it would look nice. The only problem I have seen doing research is getting the exhaust on the right side of the spare tire because of the battery box.
See THIS post for reference.

I think someone did a spare delete and moved the exhaust closer to the middle like the M s.

It would probably be a real pain in the ass to do a 4 pipe unless you were just faking it. The spare wheel well would get in the way.

Even when done/cut/molded perfectly, the spacing just looks like total ass. the ONLY nice way to do this would be using the factory M3 exhaust or aftermarket equivalent WITH ONLY an M3 bumper. Better yet with m3 engine

Ignorant. It's not a butcherfest if done properly the right way.

That is NOT the only way. There are companies like Eisenmann and Remus that still make fully functioning quad exhausts. I went with Eisenmann long before we even had the option to go with M3 exhausts/bumpers and I can honestly say I'm happy with my choice. I prefer my drivers side/passenger side exhaust tips to be spread out as is the case with my Eisenmann configuration versus closer together and centered like the M3 exhaust tips are.

I would love to do this as well. Have four nice SS tips. If I could get a diffuser to replace the one on my zhp I would do it. I saw a guy here that did it, nice and spaced out. I honestly do not like the M3 exhaust. It looks goofy in the middle.

do a Search, there are atleast 2-3 threads on this with photos. Look in the Showroom for photo threads.
as far as cost there is one guy going to post some absurd cost. that is because he inflates what he got ripped off for. if you're an idiot, then maybe you too could be easily parted from your money like this. it doesn't need to cost thousands.
