E46 XI fitment
Hey guys,
I have the opportunity to purchase a set of Style 42 17" wheels/tires pulled off a E38 530. See here: http://lincoln.craigslist.org/pts/3577524659.html 17" x 8" - 5x120mm lug - 235/45r17 tire size I've searched all day and haven't found a solid yes or no answer. i can run the numbers and they make sense, but I'm relying on the E46F community experience to help me on this one. I know I'll need hubcentric rings to adapt the hub bore, and I know the offset is such that the rubber will stick out a bit past the fenders (ET20), but my main question is below. Will they rub? I would like to mount them on my stock 2002 325xi. Stock suspension, and no rolled fenders. I've seen plenty of photos of this style on the E46, but I can't tell the exact tire size or whether the fenders have been rolled. I am in your debt.

With an offset of +20mm I would not recommend that fitment on your car.

We recommend x8.5 ET35 all around, and the 17x8 ET20 you're looking at will stick out 8-9mm further than what we recommend.
