That four-year old gearhead is Eli, and Eli's dream was of a 19-engined (Porsche engines, which BMW must have forgotten to notate), 42-wheeled BMW monster with a trunk full of toys. And three driving positions, and all kinds of other good stuff only four-year old minds can emit.

rather than take interest in a 4yr old's dream, BMW needs to pay attention to their customers and better engineer their cars so that it doesn't cost an arm and leg just to repair simple oil leaks and electrical malfunctions.

What are your specific suggestions for BMW?

I doubt this thread will change the practice of "built in obsolescence" as it had been in place since the 1930's.

Forget the oil leaks, how about remembering how to build a Bmw. Not this new front wheel drive, 3/4 cylinder, cater to the masses bullshit
