Lowering with springs
Just got some csl wheels last month and just wanted to know is it that bad to go with springs lower your an inch instead of buying a whole suspenion

It's not as ideal as doing a "kit" as the damper is designed to have a certain amount of travel - by adding a shorter spring, the damper is being compressed more than it would with a standard spring so you damper will now have less travel than before. Not detrimental by any means, just may wear them out a little quicker and not have as nice of a ride.

Been looking into coil overs and someone told me that kind of messes with the handling of the car I just basically want to lower my car and keep the handling good as it is with out spending over 3k for a new suspenion

Coilovers (unless a cheap brand) will not mess with the handling of the car, if anything they improve/accentuate the handling of the car. Is your car going to be a pure daily driver (normal/spirited drives) or will it see the occasional track day/autoX ?

For DD usage, Eibach / HR springs and Koni shocks will be enough.
Using lowering springs will wear out your stock shocks quicker, but if your shocks are in good shape, you can wait before replacing them.

if you do springs, youll eventually end up buying shocks, then mounts, then bushings. save up and get ST coils their good enough for what you need.

Springs limit wheel travel and provide minimal improvements. As said above pair springs with quality shocks. Coilovers can greatly improve handling IF you get them adjusted and balanced correctly.
