Damn, of course it's outer ball joints

So lifted my car today to see what was vibrating up front...both outer ball joints are shot. Working on ordering both control arms and Powerflex CABs from bimmerworld. Inners are still good and I don't really want to drop an additional $190 on new ones right now.

all conditions, I had it up on a lift with my buddy at his shop, so I know exactly what it is.

just replace the inners while you are there. You can get them for 140 from OEMbimmerparts.
