Sprint Booster questions...

Can I run this along with my current AA dme tune or will it conflict? Also, how do I check to see if I have the drive by wire system?

It will work fine with the tune. The sprint booster works on cars 2001 and newer for the e46 anyways. If you have 2001 or newer you can use it. It is not a tune

They don't program out the lag when they perform the tune? Or is it only possible with a plug in module like the sprint booster?

The sprint booster doesn't fix the throttle lag. It just modifies the signal to the DME to make small throttle inputs appear larger. Makes the car feel faster and drive jumpier, but that's it. Total waste of money.

I just got my sprint booster today. I have a Dinan stage 3 chip and still with the booster the pedal feels so more alive. I would recommend it to anyone who wants the most out of their car.

If you want the most out of your car, spend the money you spent on a sprint booster on something that actually improves performance.

Dude. Don't bend over and get butt rammed by a $1000 tune unless you're getting forced induction. Anyways, Google up bmw e46 winkfp euro tune flash and do a lot of studying. I'm not going to explain it to you because it takes too much time. If you want more specific info, then I'll answer them. Just to let you know I studied it for over 6 months before i felt prepared for all scenarios.

If you have ever driven a BMW with an actual throttle cable (E10 or an E30 for example) get a sprint booster for your E46. If not, don't bother.

I missed that "connection" to the car I feel the E46 lacks...

Trying looking for something that will gain a good amount of power with less than $300, other than a CAI or tune. It's kind of hard on a BMW. The sprintbooster works great, and good for the money. I've had it on my non-m for a while And gained really good power, and I got one for my M3 and hooked it up last night, works great! Way more power. Works better if you have a tune!

I have I have a engine tune, cai, exhaust, suspension, wider throttle body, and headers soon. You need to go try sprint booster I know you will love it. It just makes the car a lot more aggressive.

The sprint booster does nothing but make the throttle open more for a given pedal application. That doesn't make your car faster and it doesn't magically make your engine more powerful. If you want to make the car feel more aggressive just push the pedal more. That's a lot cheaper than a $300 sport button.

Ok look at it this way. What person is faster. One who goes from standing then into a sprint. Or another person who goes from standing into a jog into a sprint?

What does that have to do with anything?

If someone can explain to me how the sprint booster makes more power I'll shut up.

I would assume the sprint booster wouldn't do anything at WOT.
