A few pics of my car

Finally got my amp back and installed. Thought id share some pictures. Main goal was to keep spare easily accessible. All my amps have quick disconnect so i can pull the floor out or prop it up in a matter of seconds.

12" Fi Q with BP Option
2.0 cu^3 @ 32hz
Sundown SAZ-1500D 1500wrms@1ohm
Sundown SAX-100.4 100wrmsx4@4ohm (200x2@4ohm bridged)
Pioneer Premier DEH-P980BT
Rainbow SLC 265 Kicks

Wires are messy underneath, and will be cleaning them up when i layer the trunk with some RaamMat.

Funny...we almost have the same trunk setup. Do you still have the full size spare?

BTW, I like the amp rack prop.

After revisiting that post, other than the wires not being spot tied a little neater, that looks pretty damn good. Nice work.

Thanks for the compliments. The full size spare is still in there easily accesible. But now theres 2 ssa icon 10s in there.

Jae, you need to hear these dude, they are low end monsters. I only got a few minutes to test and reset the gains, then loaded up to move to san diego. I cant wait till they break in and i can set my gains with the oscope thats in storage.

I've heard a lot of good things about the Icons. I would be inclined to just order one since they are relatively cheap. But I'm more than happy with what I have now.

It would be a minor PIA to get the spare out of my trunk. I wish the Sundown amps were just a tad slimmer - maybe closer 8.5" wide instead of 9" wide.

How does all this new weight affect your rear suspension?

The rear end sits a little lower and car accelerates a little slower. You can feel the difference but that is the penalty for having a subwoofer box and amps.

Its kind of like putting a person in the back seat.

You can reduce the weight gain by removing the spare tire and going with a lighter battery.
