2 year relationship just ended last night. Woke up this morning and didn't want to do anything but mope. Slowly putting her stuff in a box but it isn't helping. The worst part is we both still love each other. She didn't cheat or anything, but she said she just lost that "forever" feeling with me and didn't know if it would work out in the long run although we were doing well in the present (which baffles me since we are doing so well and we were happy with each other).

I saw a future with this girl since we were pretty perfect with each other, and accepted each others imperfections and embraced it too. It's rare to be able to find someone that I can be so comfortable with, fit so well with, and show a side of me that I haven't shown anyone else to and it's just sad that now it's gone.

Hopefully time will heal the wounds.

Time sons...time. My ex breezy hangs out the same place i do, she flaunting her ex in front of me n sh*t and talking to other guys, etc. You just gotta dig deep down, remember you're a man, grab your balls and get over it.

No girl is worth being sad over, unless you put a ring on her finger.....just give it time and keep yourself occupied, friends, etc

It is mentioned several times in this post that women get over break up faster than me... even days after? Do you think they are just trying to get another guy thinking that will get them over their ex, but in reality it doesn't?

I just broke up with my girl of 4 years and I would like to think I am not going to be replaced next week.

you mentioned her mom don't like you, her mom already has her setup with a guy she likes that she's probably mentioned to her before she should go out with while you were dating, but your ex didn't think much about because there was you.....she'll be out on a date with him this weekend at mom's behest. There was somebody before you, there will be guys after you...get out there yourself and play the game, time heals all wounds

we ware friends for 1 year

now its almost 2 years that we havnt been in touch

to be honest i cant say i got over her

i still having dreams about her, infact she was in my dream last nigh

hope it wont happen to you and you will get to know someone new that will make u happy

im not sad or depressed as much as i was last year but i still love her

im just trying to get my self busy with other stuff that makes me happy like music and art and stuff

i still miss her alot

keep thinking like that and you wont, the only thing thats stopping you from getting a date is you, and the fact that youve accepted defeat by saying "youre not supposed to be with someone", youre currently your greatest enemy/adversary

how are you not getting dates? are you actively going out and approaching girls? if so where? or do you wait for girls to approach you in public? give me as many details as you can and i'll do my best to help

going thru a break up is hard...but us MEN can take anything...come on guys...

what i find that helps is..

write down all the positive things that you currently have in your life...and keep addin onto it!

you'd be surprised on how many awesome things you have! nitpick the positive things!

come on we cant lose to women!

its not about losing to women, its about not losing the fight against ourselves and being able to beat the depression and sadness that entails a rough break up
