Cool keybobs

How do you reprogram your keyfobs? I have one that unlocks but won't lock the doors (or set the alarm). Any ideas? I am new to this stuff.....

When you "re-initialise" your remote keys you are only establishing new security code dialogue between the car and the keys.

When you do this you have to do ALL the remote keys at once - otherwise the key that is not included in the sequense will not longer work - as you found out.

Process is as follows

Remote Key Re-Initialise - If a key fails to operate remotely, it will have to be re-initialised (all keys at the same time)

- Get in and “close all doors”

- Turn ignition to "on" & then off quickly ( no more than 5 seconds ) to start the process. (not necessary to start the engine) Next action must take place within 30 seconds

- First key - hold down button #2 (unlock) while striking button #1 (lock) three times. Release button #2. Confirmed by door lock operation.

- Repeat for next key within 30 seconds.

- Complete the process by turning the igntion to on position and immediately off again (not necessary to start the car).

Make sure you use each key regularly to keep the key batteries charged.
