specific DTC codes
Hello folks.. any help would be appreciated..
I got the following codes off my car today. Any help would be greatly appreciated 209 ews manipulation check 227 01 bank 1 control deviation 228 02 bank 2 control deviation ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU!!! |

I have 228 and 227 as well. They mean the fuel adaptation has reached it's limit. The mechanic told me the fuel mixture was to lean and it could be caused by a leak in the air intake system (from the MAF towards engine), crank case vent valve ($600), or O2 sensors. One of the syptoms that is associated with these problems is a rough idle or stalling when stopping after continuos driving.

To rich or to lean codes. You need to look at the additive and multiplicative readings to see if it is rich or lean. Then run some tests from there
