My Ride: 2005 325I Executive
205/50/17 on 2005 325I

Hello inmates.Great site and loads of info. So heres the question: I have the stock 205/50/17 GoodYear RSA's on my 2005 325I. Can I mount 225/50/17 tires without mods on the factory rims? How about a 45 series tire on the factory rim?
Thanks for the help..

Hey..thanks for the info. So if I am getting this, the 45 series comes standard on the 325 coupe with the same wheels as the sedan?

Most 325s with 17s came with 225/45/17s on the 17x8 wheel. I'm guessing you've got the 7.5" wheel. The 225/45/17 will fit perfect.

OE is either 7" or 8". In either case, using 225/45R17 is fine 225/50R17 is a bit too tall.
