Kick panels help in 2000 BMW 323i

Hello everyone,

I need your help and advise on how to create an optimal SQ in my car. The whole system will be active.

The products I have:

Alpine D900 HU
Alpine H701
Alpine RUX 701

Morel Elate 6 with Supremo tweeters.
3 Arc audio SE amps
2 Morel 12" Ultimo subs
Kinetik HC1800 Battery

I was going to put the midrange and Tweeters in the kick panels and midbass in the OEM factory location. I will either need to cut the metal to fit the 6s in or make adapter rings to fit them in.

The car is step/auto and I will have to cut out the dead pedal area.

One other thing, I was told by my shop that the way the Morel tweeters are designed , they can be placed anywhere.

Here are some pics of the interior.

Thanks Tas

I did kick panels in my car (2-way, as I prefer to stay away from the doors). Made a fiberglass back plate, mounted the mid/tweets on MDF rings suspended by metal braces and played with polarity and aiming for 3 weeks, then finished the pods. If you are mounting kicks in the doors, do this:

Thanks for the advise Ca1242. I read your whole kick panel process. It is very well done and very informative.

I have gone head and placed the mids and Twts in the kicks facing the sunroof and placed the mid in the doors.
