SSR GT1's or Magic's

So im kinda stuck right now. I was shopping for 18's, maybe even 19's-but i prefer 18's, thus I was all about the magic's untill i started hearing that they are pretty heavy and wear down on performance. They i saw the GT1 and loved it AND its freakin light too. So which one would you reccomend and why?
SSR's come in x9 in the rear too-and i love with, but magics have a beautifull spokage happening.

IMO there is no comparison between the two wheels for only one reason, I am performance oriented and I've experienced heavy wheels on my car and they REALLY drag down the performance . . .

I say GT1's all the way . . . they are very light wheels and they look beautiful . . . the only downside to those wheels are the outer lip (if they are like the GT3's which I think they are) They are a hollow lip which means it is not as strong and can bend easier then other wheels . . .

The Magics are a very nice looking wheel but they are like putting lead weights on your car and you WILL feel the difference. To some here the looks of the wheel make up for the performance loss so it really depends on what your priorities are . . .

No doubt the Breytons look great! If you're more about performance though, my avatar pic says it all. (GT1's on my car)

Another suggestion. For a compromise check out the GT3. Its a bit heavier than the GT1 and more expensive but a bit better looking and not as heavy as the Bretyons.

You can check pricing and availablity at our site at :

the only thing i dont dig about the GT1's is how the spokes come out instead of in like the GT3's-which are out of my price range. I love the look of the breytons i dunno.....choices choices....
i have an auto 330-so obviously performance is not the #1 but if it goes down i might slap on GruppeM intake to make up for the wheels-what do you think?
I really dont think theres a big difference between my current M68's and the Magics? Magic's are 25lbs, how much are M68's?
