BSW Stage I - crossover??
Does anyone know of a crossover for the BSW stage I front components? I've had the midranges for a few months, and have been thinking about putting the midbasses and tweeters in as well, and then connecting them to my JL 300/2 amp.
So a 3 way crossover, and if not a 2 way. Thanks! |

Bump for BSW. If not these I'm going to go with a 5.25inch CDT EF-51 and sell my bsw midranges

From what I can tell, the low-pass to the mid-bass should be ~300-400hz.

Hey Ben-Z,
I was in the same situation. BSW actually can sell you Rainbow crossovers to go with the setup, which makes it a 2 way setup. I, however, chose not to go that route and used CDT Satnet crossovers. I also converted them to a 2-way set and left the mid disconnected, because as BSW explained its not really meant to take aftermarket amp power and was only in the set to match the factory setup. I actually emailed Rainbow about this set and asked what the ideal crossover point was and came to the conclusion the CDT Satnet's are within .1 khz of the recommend spot. I went with these crossovers and have been totally satisfied with the result: http://www.woofersetc.com/p3481/Satn...Crossovers.htm |
