Transporting NY>CT>MA>NY

So i'm going on a long weekend trip soon. I have a CCW permit for NY. I'm starting out in NY, going to CT and staying the night, leaving the next morning driving through MA back into NY. I'm trying to find out if i can transport my gun through CT and MA and if i can stay overnight in CT and not break any laws. I have no intenions on carrying.. i'm fine with striping it seperating ammo and locking it in my trunk somewhere. Any ideas? i feel like i'm going to have to call the police departments in each state to find out

This will tell you everything you need to know, whether you want to carry or not. For the most part, the firearm unloaded in a case in the trunk is universally accepted.
