Looking for Rem. 870

Anybody got a used 870 for sale or is there a good gun forum to use to search for used guns?? This will be my first shotgun so consider me a noob but i have heard you pretty much cant wear these things out. I'm looking to modify to the specs as this one...

You should be able to get a brand new one (stock) for around $350 or so. The mods will obviously add to that cost, but check for sales at a Cabela's or other outdoor type stores. Mine is running that one this week for $350 though. You won't save much by buying used.

www.gunbroker.com for used listings.

I'm not sure what you have in your area, but Big 5 Sporting Goods routinely has the Remington 870 home defense gun on sale for under $350. Comes in all black with a magazine extension already on it. Search the web for ATI and Wilson Combat. Both make some ridiculously nice stuff for those guns.

Thanks for the info guys! I went ahead and purchased a 870 express tactical which has the +2 mag. extension, rail and ghost rings already installed. Part number 81198, I was able to get it for under $400 through a friend of mine who is a dealer so im satisfied. The only thing is that its on backorder, but when I get it in ill give a review on it.

When you get it check the mag extension. At the end of the tube Remington was using a plastic cap to hold in the follower and spring. Horrible design at best. They may have changed it in the last few years though.

Any recommendations on Tactical barrels? I've got an 870 super mag (3.5'' shells) full synthetic with an 8 shot mag extension and I'm looking to get a tactical barrel for it.
