THATS FRESH Detailed: 90 IslandGreen Metallic 535i
more more more rain. finally got this car scheduled. this called for an almost full restoration job. with only a day and half to correct the paint, i had to grind this one out fast. car history: was repainted by previous owner. but over the years, the clear eventually went thin and gone in some areas. the new owner "IDRIVEANE34" on here aquired the car from a dealer down in North Carolina during the winter so inspecting the paint was a tough one. She drove the car back up to VA through a snow storm. Few months later, the true condition of the paint showed. She did use touch up paint to cover some troubled areas. Those areas were about 3" in diameter. i didnt not touch bc i did not want to risk more damage as i could see the bare metal right through the touch up paint. I informed her that best option was to repspray the car. She did however provide me with a fresh package of Dr Colorchip which i did use on rock chips, scratches etc.
I did my best to revive the metallic color while removing 90% of the swirls. the paint levels were dangerously low for me to work on throughout the car. I say i got a 75% correction rating. Well onto the detail... holy crap! that looks 100x better.
You are an amazing detailer, another super extreme clean car (compared to how bad it was before)!

interior is coming the 2nd week of september.... i can't wait to see what it looks like. there was so much salt on the exterior from a trip to rodanthe pier the friday before glenn got the car... on the drive back, we couldn't see 100yds ahead of us because there was so much salt in the air.
i've NEVER seen the metallic in my paint before glenn got ahold of this. i'm baffled by what he did, and i'm anxious to see what he does for the interior.
