Demands for fresh products, segment-busters/fillers, and compliance with stricter emissions/mpg standards, FI is a technology that could find their way in more ///M vehicles. You can only stretch Inline 6's, V8's and V10's so far in NA form, and maintain these new standards.

Could the Chevy ZR1 really get 608hp from an NA, production V8...and still balance 25highway mpg? FI is the way.

Don't forget, one of the first un-official ///M cars was the early 70's 2002 Turbo. Last I checked, that car is still a highly sought-after icon. So all is not lost.

(Now,I'll concede I dont like the X5/X6 M models. But, not because of their performance)

Unlike most bmw fans I am praying that the next m3 is a turbo six. I hate how everyone has it soo much easier when they want to mod their sti's and evo's.

Good model with good features and interiors. But it could have been more attractive.
