Outter Ring

I tried searching for this but came up short as answers weren't sufficient...on the Eagle Eye LED Tail Lights, does the outter LED ring light up??? I know on OEM LED's it lights up during hard braking, but does it come on on the EE LED's at all or is it useless??? Any input appreciated!

No it does not light up. You can wire it so that it works with the brake lights but it will not work like stock adaptive unless you do a lot of modification to the wiring and programming

Thank you, is there a DIY on this anywhere?

Also, can I re-use the OEM back-covers instead of the ones supplied by EE???

Nada??? I tried searching for a diy for the outer led's but came up short...found an article on oem's but nuthin on ee...any suggestions???
