New Hampton, Va BMW owner

Were to start... I bought my 2002 325XI a year ago today. Itís been an amazing drive. I was originally looking for a car just to get around in seeing as I owned a 97 Acura Integra Turbo I was not looking for a car with a lot of power but still something that was enjoyable to drive. So as the year went on I also bought a house and found I could not afford to keep up with a track car and a BMW. I knew what I had to do, it was sad to let the Integra go but as my wife sad it was time to grow up. ( I was not happy about that reply from her) Now that the house is all together I figured itís time to turn my 325 into a replacement for the part of me I had to give away. I started doing research and to my surprise you really canít do to much to add power to this model. I've just focused on the upkeep until I can figure out what I want to do. So far I have had to replace the lower control arms, fix the rear signal light because the grounding wire broken off from the mounting point, and the rear passenger window regulator. As this is my first BMW I would have to say the parts are a bit expensive but lucky for me I have the ability to do my own repairs.
All in all would I have to say I regret my decision to give up my race car...Yes just a bit but I look forward to the future of what this car can become.

Welcome to the forum. The 323 is a great commute car so you picked a good one.
