Don Nguyen - Vinyl Carbon Fiber Roof - Picture Thread

Starting and official thread for roofs that I have wrapped in carbon fiber vinyl.

If you guys have any specific questions about the material or installation, post here or shoot me a PM, and I can set you up with either one.

I'll start off with Paul's (thesethoughtsru) E46 M3:

I'll add more pictures as I get them. If you want any specific pictures/shots, just let me know.

Also stay tuned for new threads that I will be making of other vinyl work of that I have done for some local cars, D1/Formula D cars, and shop/track cars.

Yea, local members around Orange County have it lucky. Even then, I've had some guys come down from Norcal and even Vegas to have me do their roofs.

More pictures of a 1 series I did. I also tinted his tail lights for him, and tested the flexibility of the vinyl on his mirrors. I think it turned out fairly well, considering the theme of his car.

It has a fairly large/high operating temp, so it definitely should be safe on engine covers.

It's not a fabric. This material is designed to be used on exteriors/outdoors and has a life span of ~4 years, when done so. Contrary to popular belief, it does rain in socal every once in a while. It's not a fabric. This material is designed to be used on exteriors/outdoors and has a life span of ~4 years, when done so. Contrary to popular belief, it does rain in socal every once in a while. Even I am not brave enough to go through all of that work just to have something that could/would be that easily ruined by something as simple as rain/snow.

Any word on how long this takes or how involved it is to do? Would you have to take apart the whole roof?
