Mother's refelctions
STOP the presses
Look no further for basic car care products. I just scored some Mother's Reflections wax from Autobarn and so far by far its the best wax I have used. Durability wise the jury is still out but it goes out even, comes even with a good microfiber cloth. I have used som of the sponsors products and some non sponsors products with good result but for $15.00 This stuff is 2 thumbs up. I have an 05 330ci in Jet Black and black is a pain in the a$$ and this was no sweat. I plan on buying the other products in the line to give it a try. I originally was going for the cleaner wax (california gold) since Im running low but they were out and this was on the shelf. So I gave it a try, and glad that I did.

for what it's worth, if you are going to buy something 'over the counter', I think NXT V2 wax is easier to apply, leaves a shinier finish, and lasts a little longer.

I tried the NXT tech wax paste and I didn't like it. I used Meguiars deep crystal cleaner wax and found it inferior to mothetrs california gold. Right now The reflections takes the cake.
In October a dose of Collinite 845 for winter is in order. I wax and or polish, claybar once every 3 weeks in the warmer seasons here in the NE. Roads are nasty with grime and i work near jet engine exhaust so I get some oily residues sometimes and the occasional bird$**** that looks like it came from a pteranadon.

To each his own I guess. I find letting the waxes heat up or get near freezing screws with them. I keep em at room temp.
Im going to give the top coat a go next week. Ive paid 50 to 80$ on cans or bottles of waxes and polishes (each) and I can say that this is as good if not better than the "designer" stuff. Gregs sells good stufff I have bought but get the same result (NO BS) with the higher end OTC stuff. You can spend $1.99 on some gliptone left over crap at CVS and get a crappy result but I can assure you this is superior.

After a few days of dust ,pollen, mornind dew, and wind whipping will take it's toll. Just voiceing an opinion from actual use. The word your looking for is "waste" not "waist". To me , "waste" is overpaying for designer products.
